Our team led the revision of Ghana’s 2007 National Water Policy to align with current WASH sector priorities and the Sustainable Development Goal 6 (SDG 6). Commissioned by the erstwhile Ministry of Sanitation and Water Resources with support from UNICEF, this nationwide assignment involved extensive stakeholder consultations, policy analysis, engagement with the Parliamentary Select Committee on Works and Housing. Key outputs included a revised National Water Policy (2024), cabinet memorandum, and a comprehensive dissemination plan. The assignment contributed to strengthening institutional frameworks and improving drinking water supply and governance in Ghana.
